So I was informed this morning that the family I'm staying with will be moving to New Jersey in the next 4-5 weeks. Eileen (one of them) has been looking for a job for almost 8 months now, and was offered a great position, but it requires relocation. Heidi (the other) got confirmation that she can transfer out there this morning. They had an estimate done for relocation today. Which means it's official; first week of July, I'm out of a place to live.

Adam and I are looking at apartments in Rancho Cucamonga, and we've found some good options. The only thing we're really waiting on is hearing back from our forth potential roommate, since it's a 3 bedroom and we want to minimize costs. We'd like a backup roomie, so if you know anyone let us know, but don't be offended if you're turned down as we're looking for some very specific qualities in a roommate.

As I've got 4-5 weeks to get out and about 10 weeks until everything will be settled, I may or may not be out of a place to live for a while. Thusly, I may be out of internet and a way to do commissions for a while. Please understand, I know I am very far behind in some of these, but I'm working my way through my queue as fast as I can, and I will use the next five weeks to my full advantage and get as much done as I possibly can. As for mailing, there will be an extended, unwanted delay on that also, as all my funds must go towards keeping myself fed, clothed, and under a roof.

Sorry in advance to anyone who has been caused an inconvenience in this past year due to my unprofessionalism. I know I haven't been on time for a lot of things, but I've moved four times now, about to be five, gone through several rocky relationships, and am still dealing with an abusive mother and family.

I try not to talk about my personal life over the internet, but sometimes it becomes impossible to seperate the two.

I feel great, fantastic, wonderful, happy. Better than I've felt in a long time. I'm social, I'm productive, I'm smiling and laughing. I just can't sleep.

I'm thinking that instead of waking up today at 11 as I'd planned, what I'm going to do is stay up for another hour and call the cleaners when they open at nine. Then, under cover of...well, something, slip down there and take the suit for sin and get it paid down on the card, then ask for the cash later.

I'm getting really confused at all the election controversy within the furry fandom...people seem shocked and awed at the possibility that there are republican furries out there. Uh, duh? We're people brought together by a COMMON INTEREST, not brought together by an exactly matching set of opinions and beliefs. Personally, I'm a democrat, though I lean more and more towards centrist the older I get. While I believe in more gun rights, I also believe in gay marriage; while I believe in not taxing the rich, I also believe in government sponsored health care. I'm a socialist by a lot of means, but I'm a capitalist by many others. I have no qualms against people that believe that being gay is learned behavior so long as they don't try to force their beliefs on me--even though I believe that being gay is a genetic thing. I have a lot of good friends who are republican furs; Foxy Fennec is one of the best examples. My opinion versus hers on the election would probably be very different---but I'm seeing a lot of friendships get broken up this election, I'm seeing a lot of people un-watch artists for their political beliefs, I'm seeing a lot of flaming for the "Furries for McCain" and "Furries for Obama" icons....it just doesn't make sense. So it's ok for someone to be of a different race/sexual orientation, but not of a different political affinity? Just seems stupid to me.

I'm voting for Obama because of his plan for government medical care and his spoken stance on gay marriage....I would vote for McCain because of the gun rights issue, but since he is so incredibly outspoken against gay marriage I can't find it in my conscience (having gay parents) to do so. I want the troops HOME...if there were a way to bring only the people who are 21 and under home, that would be my option, but it's really an all or nothing situation, so I can't help but side with Obama on that. My reasons for voting are simple...I'm not looking to be convinced otherwise on any of my views, I'm simply trying to show you that just because someone is a democrat doesn't mean they're a liberalist retard, and just because someone is a Republican doesn't mean they're a conservative asshole.

There was a time in the White House when Republicans and Democrats got along really well...they went out for lunch together, argued in the ring but were friends outside the political bullshit...can't it be the same now? Can't we just agree to disagree? It all seems very childish to me. In fact, a lot of this election seems very childish to me.

my mate is having a roommate move out, which is both good and bad news.

Good news is, we can move better roommates in...like, our friends. Bad news is, the friend we want to move in just got kicked out.

Sin wants to move in with us (since, well, Sin practically lives here already) but we need to be able to make the $1350 and Brokoro and our other roommate can only cover so much. Plus, Sin needs money for moving expenses, a bus pass to look for a job, and well, everything else that goes along with moving somewhere new.

Sin is a great person, is on Califur staff, contributes a lot to the fandom, and still devotes time to the people ze cares about. We care a lot about zer, and we\\\'re going to do the best we can to support zer. But while ze\\\'s looking for a job, ze has to have something to live on.
